SOGo stores the database hostname together with table references inside a database table (
OCSFolderInfoURL). As mentioned in the Installation Guide, it is best practice to add a local alias name to your
/etc/hosts file, and using this in
/etc/sogo/sogo.conf instead of the actual name of your server or localhost. Moving the database to another host becomes much easier.

mysqldump/mysql). You can update your hostname, username, and or password using the following SQL query:
update sogo_folder_info set \ c_location = replace(c_location, 'OLD_PARAMETER', 'NEW_PARAMETER'), \ c_quick_location = replace(c_quick_location, 'OLD_PARAMETER', 'NEW_PARAMETER'), \ c_acl_location = replace(c_acl_location, 'OLD_PARAMETER', 'NEW_PARAMETER');
Make sure to also update the database URLs in
