Description

Not been published package sogo in http://inverse.ca/debian-v3/dists/jessie/jessie/binary-amd64/Packages. After update packages 07-Jul-2016 15:52 can not install sogo-openchange give error:
sogo-openchange : Depends: sogo (= 3.1.3-1) but 2.2.9+git20141017-1 is to be installed
But in official repositories exist only package 2.2.9+git20141017. And in inverse.ca repository not exist package "sogo"

Steps To Reproduce
  1. add http://inverse.ca/debian-v3/dists/jessie/jessie repository in apt
  2. apt-get install sogo-openchange

Got error

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
sogo-openchange : Depends: sogo (= 3.1.3-1) but 2.2.9+git20141017-1 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

OpenChange packages are being removed in ALL distributions except Ubuntu Xenial.

We will no longer support the old distros for OpenChange.

version Debian 8.5 released 04 Jun 2016 (you are not support this version Debian?)

why you make repository refresh if you will not support this distros?
when you add package (sogo) in repository you need update file http://inverse.ca/debian-v3/dists/jessie/jessie/binary-amd64/Packages and include in this new package. (file was updated but package sogo not been added)

Jessie provides an old version of Samba (4.2), no longer supported by OpenChange.

We made the decision at Inverse to no longer provide Samba packages. It is just too much efforts.

We will stick with distros that provide Samba 4.3 >= packages when it comes to OpenChange.

The Packages file error is not normal, it's being looked at.

It's more the SOGo Native Outlook guide that will be updated. It has already been updated a few days ago - see github.

Note that we WILL continue to provide SOGo packages for all distros, it's just the OpenChange ones that will only be provided for Xenial, for now.

Regarding the package sogo not beeing in the debian jessie repository: This is also the case for Ubuntu trusty. I managed to compile the sogo package myself with:

$ apt-get source sogo
$ cd sogo
$ sed -i -e 's/libsbjson-dev/libsbjson2.3-dev' debian/control
$ dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -nc
$ # install all build dependencies, of course

(i.e. on Ubuntu trusty at least it's libsbjson2.3-dev not libsbjson-dev)

Really sorry about that (I'm behind that fiasco); some distros are still a bit problematic, currently working on it.
