Summary | 0003234: Alarm removed when set through caldav
Description | I'm having an issue with alarms on a shared calendar. I first though it was a lightning bug so I reported here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171487 but it seems to be in fact a problem in the caldav server. I'm using Thunderbird 31.7.0 with latest Integrator and Connector (31.0.1). The client is running Windows 7 pro x64 or Linux, with the same result. I'm user A, and I have full RW access on user's B calendar. I've subscribed to user's B calendar in Thunderbird (using the integrator buttons). The problem doesn't exists on the web interface, I can create events with an alarm on shared calendar even if I don't display the alarm. On Thunderbird, if I tick the "Show alarm" box, the problem goes away. According to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1171487 lightning is doing it's job: it send an event with VALARM set, and the server modify it right away, removing the VALARM
