This behaviour only occurs when using sogo-connector without sogo-integrator. |
I do have the same problem with TB3.1 and SOGo Connector 3.105 - even with no master password set! I already had a look at the code and found 2 functions (getPassword & setPassword), that are never being used... WHY? May this one be related to http://www.sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=1128 ? |
I had the behaviour that SOGo always asked for password, even with no master password set, when the Update URL in sogo-integrator extensions.rdf was not modified according to the installation. |
I can confirm the issue with TB 24.2.0 and Sogo 24.0.2. Considering the growing number of OwnCloud-users who would like to sync Thinderbird using Sogo, I think it would be a very good thing to tackle this bug. Thank you. |
I circumvented this issue by installing the addon StartupMaster This fixes the multiple password prompt. Perhaps this code can be implemented into SOGo addons to fix this issue without the need of an additional addon? |
Unfortunately your workarounds didn't work. I did the following without installing any other plug-in besides the sogo connector: I stored the login credentials within the HTTPS-URL of the address book/calendar: For the address book you can change the link, when changing your password. For calendar not. Doing so TB is not requesting any login data on start-up any longer! |
