Wipe entirely your calendar-data from your Thunderbird profile and retry.

I deleted storage.sdb and calendar-data/cache.sqlite and the problem is gone.
But - I found the same problem on all machines/user accounts, where I tried it.
I cannot ask every of our users for wiping their local caches. Do you plan to solve this situation somehow on the "global" level?

Thanks.

Try with pre4, available from: http://inverse.ca/downloads/extensions/nightly/

Hi, Lemme confirm with you if the issue happens with migration of lightning from lightning-1.0b2.105i to pre4 or is a permanent happening with the same version? Also do you see exceptions/errors/warnings in the Error Console?

I noticed it after migrating from lightning-1.0b2.106pre2i to lightning-1.0b2.106pre4i.xpi.

If I delete an event from the Web interface, it remains in Lightning. If I try to manually delete the event from Lightning, the event will not delete, and the event's calendar goes read-only for a while (until the next calendar refresh maybe).

When testing on an XP box, I saw the following in the Error Console after trying to manually remove an event:

Warning: reference to undefined property Components.classes['@mozilla.org/privatebrowsing;1']
Source File: chrome://global/content/globalOverlay.js
Line: 17

Error: this.console.appendItem is not a function
Source File: chrome://global/content/consoleBindings.xml

Warning: There has been an error reading data for calendar: Personal Calendar. It has been placed in read-only mode, since changes to this calendar will likely result in data-loss. You may change this setting by choosing 'Edit Calendar'. Error code: DAV_REMOVE_ERROR. Description: There was an error deleting the item from the server.

Error: An error occurred when writing to the calendar Personal Calendar! Error code: MODIFICATION_FAILED. Description:

lightning-1.0b2.106pre4 looks fine for me.
When I tried it on profile where I used pre3 before, it had the same problem.
But when I used pre4 on profiles where 105 version was used before, I didn't find that problem. I tried it on 3 different machines/user accounts for Linux and Windows TB-3.1.x.

Thanks

So, ludovic I think this bug can be closed now, as lightning-1.0b2.106pre4 does not have this issue anymore.
