Description	Hello, im running an OpenMediavualtServer with Owncloud 8.2.1 this problems exists since I'm using SoGo Connector to sync my contacts. I'm using Owncloud and SoGo Connector for almost a year now. I already postet it here https://forum.owncloud.org/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27878&p=109603#p109603 and here https://www.thunderbird-mail.de/thread/70520-sogo-connector-owncloud-too-many-failed-login-attempts/ Nobody could help me. All my users get often banned by Owncloud because SoGo seems to authenticate them with a wrong or empty password. I did never ever change the password. It works properly after the ban is over. During ban all clients with this user account are locked out (Browser, calendar, contacts, sync client). Due to this ban I get the following email. User 'username' has been banned at Mar 7 17:56:06 after 4 failed login attempts. Access is denied for 3 minutes. After that time, the user is able to log in again with the correct password. I get this message twice or more per day, so it's really annoying. Sometimes, I get a dozen mails at once (from one user). It seems there is a loop which tries to authenticate with wrong credentials.

Christian Mack 2016-03-08 16:19 developer ~0009656	Just a guess. SOGo Connector uses Lightning for authentication at the server. Perhaps the error is in there?
