Summary	0002403: Feature request: Adding LDAP attribute for category and extended search
Description	It would be really nice to have a LDAP attribute for the category for LDAP based address books. With this attribute it would be possible to have an advanced search in Thunderbird and in the web interface for large global or personal LDAP address books. Currently you only can search for name or email address. The category does not work for LDAP based address books. Furthermore for the web interface, it would be really nice to have advanced search options for all LDAP indexed attributes. This would enhance the search capabilities a lot.
Additional Information	Some ideas: RFC 4519 2.1. 'businessCategory' The 'businessCategory' attribute type describes the kinds of business performed by an organization. Each kind is one value of this multi-valued attribute. (Source: X.520 [X.520]) 2.20. 'ou' The 'ou' ('organizationalUnitName' in X.500) attribute type contains the names of an organizational unit. Each name is one value of this multi-valued attribute. (Source: X.520 [X.520]) Both are not perfect. But maybe one of these attributes might be used for the category. I think businessCategory might be ok.
