Summary0001823: Blocks clients based on User-Agent
Description

When visiting the web interface from a perfectly capable browser that has an unrecognised User-Agent string, SOGo refuses to display anything useful and instructs people to download Firefox, Chrome or Safari. This can be seen by using a Firefox User-Agent-Switcher extension.

I would prefer the web interface to maybe warn people with a banner or red box, but not block access.

What browser are you using? Can you post its User-Agent string? Thanks.

I am a bit puzzled by the request because I do not want my User-Agent string added as another special case. I would like access opened to all reasonably-capable browsers.

Anyway, I am using a version of iceweasel. Most often, I have no User-Agent string or "-" - I think you could emulate both behaviours with http://chrispederick.com/work/user-agent-switcher/ for any firefox-based browser.

Bizarrely, the built-in browser from the Kindle can access SOGo, even though it is rather useless (slow javascript and cannot open pop-ups, for example).
