Summary0001567: Configuration file will be deleted when SOGo detects a misconfiguration
Description

When doing i. e. a typo in a key in .GNUstepdefaults (aka "configuration file") and then restart SOGo, it will delete this configuration file and will place a empty default file instead of.

A typo could be:

  • unclosed xml tag like "<string>value<string>"
  • false use of dictionary/array i. e. using <dict> instead of wished <array>
  • false chars like '<>' in a value (<string> <> </string>)
TagsNo tags attached.

In this case, as a workaround SOGo should save the current file.
But better is not delete this.

Don't modify the file by hand, use the defaults tool. It has nothing to do with SOGo - GNUstep is the one "emptying" the file.
